City Views

With sweeping views of the city from the upper floor, this inner city home has the classic upside down design, with the living areas upstairs to capture the views and private bedroom wing downstairs. Designed for a family with young children, both the internal and external living areas were positioned to maximise the city view aspect, with the utilities side of the house facing the industrial areas.

The very modern facade, as requested by the client, gives the impression of a complex home, however the building designer has created a "highly constructionable" home, designed with uncomplicated construction in mind to minimise costs.
